Since the 18 February 2008 Code::Blocks uses a new version numbering scheme. The goals listed in the roadmap though, may still be valid.

After a discussion recently held between the core team members, it was decided to change the version numbering scheme used for Code::Blocks. The new scheme will follow the "Year.Month" style, also known as the "Ubuntu version scheme". This means that our next release will be named as 8.02 (February 2008).
